Friends Helping Friends

Right now, I am so grateful and happy, I feel like crankin’ up James Taylor’s “You’ve Got a Friend” because of our dear friend Kimberly. It fits us perfectly.

You see, when Bruce and I hit the road in 2013, we were on very limited funds as we took a leap of faith to begin living our dream.  Barely made it to Arizona, needed a place to park for free for a while …

“When you’re down, and troubled, and you need a helping hand … you just call out my name …”

We called Kimberly and Ron. They said “Come.” And over the next several years we often “called out their name” …  their home was our home whenever we needed to stop, recoup, restore, regain for the next road trip.

“winter, spring, summer or fall … you just call”

Their kids became our adopted grandkids. We shared meals, went to concerts and movies, played games around the family table, went to the kids’ school programs, camped together, flew to Miami for an event … endless fun times shared.

Kimberly became like a sister to me (even though I’m old enough to be her mom!)

This family is so precious to us and we feel blessed and thankful for the friendship that has grown since the first time we met.

At the same time Bruce’s health deteriorated following his heart attack, Kimberly was suffering with many health issues, some that mirrored Bruce’s. The doctors scratched their heads …  no clear diagnosis, all kinds of tests, ER visits, hospitalizations and many different medicines. In many ways, her suffering was far worse than what Bruce was going through. After all, she was mom to four kids which is exhausting enough for healthy moms and as you know, when a mom is sick, it impacts the whole family.

When you’re down and troubled and you need a helping hand

And nothing, whoa, nothing is going right

Keep your head together and call my name out loud now …

You’ve got a friend

There were many times I’d call to check on her and was left feeling completely helpless. She was so sick, suffering with pain. It seemed that as she spiraled down and down, the final outcome was going to be devastating news.

I missed her smile, her laughter,
her high energy.
I wondered if we’d ever
snap a pic like this again.

It’s a joy to report that everything has changed for Kimberly, just as it has for Bruce.

When Bruce and I were introduced to the stem cell enhancement products and knew – just knew – that this would be the answer for all his health issues, we immediately looked at each other and said, “We’ve got to get Kimberly started on these products NOW.” That’s exactly what we did.

We heard from Kimberly today and we cried. Not sad tears, but happy, joyful, grateful tears!

The family had recently made a trip to Idaho to attend her grandma’s celebration of life.

Her words:

I usually get sick, like bronchitis sick almost every time I go…I did not this time. I took allergy pills and my allergies acted up a bit but stayed in check. I was not as tired as usual and even stayed up a few times to play games with family.

I’ve been able to cut back on my energy drink consumption.

We went to an amusement park on the way home I was able to walk around all day and even rode several rides.

I was sore but I was the one who actually drove all night from Farmington, Utah to Kingman, AZ. I slept off and on in the van but only slept two hours when we actually got home. I did lay around most of the day but my usual recovery time for doing that is two days. Instead I was up this morning the kids have had dental and eye appointments and in between I’ve done some doordash work and even been cleaning my house… This is actually pretty huge because I have not even had an energy drink today.

I also usually have to take bronkaid to be able to breathe there several times almost daily …I never took a pill the whole time I was there.

Thank you!

See why we cried? Kimberly is getting her health back after months, no – it’s been years of suffering.

This is HUGE! This is why we can’t stop sharing the wonder of the stem cell enhancement products.

They traveled to Idaho to celebrate the life of her departed grandma. Now, we are celebrating the renewal of Kimberly’s life.

Same as Bruce … same as countless others who have shared their stories here.

I’m singing this to you now … “You’ve got a friend.”  You just call … I’ll answer. I’ll help you get started on your renewal, the restoration of your health.

Here’s to you, my friend,

Trisha
