Who is at the party in YOUR house?

Who is at the party in YOUR house?

What?  I’m not having a party you say.

Oh, yes you are.

It’s a non-stop party and you DID invite the guests!

Now, this isn’t the wild kind of party that teenagers throw when parents leave town, but then again, it’s very similar.  It gets out of hand really fast.

who-is-at-the-party-in-your-house-naked-hippies-roadtrip.1
Where did all these “guests” come from?

This party is taking place in the “living room” of your mind.

It’s a non-stop party and you are the host.

You invited ALL the guests.

The guests?

Well, they are the ones you invite in with your thoughts and feelings. Because here’s the thing … every thought you have and give attention to sends out an invitation to come, take a seat, kick your shoes off … and create your reality.

You’re either inviting negative or positive guests.

And, as soon as a guest gets its foot in the door, the word goes out that there’s a party going on … and more of the same type of guests start showing up and partying like its 1999.

It’s the law of attraction simplified in a way that maybe you can understand a little better.

It’s also quantum physics, the most reliable and accurate science – the second scientific revolution that is replacing the Newtonian paradigm.

As quantum physicists, neuroscientists and biologists have discovered, every thought creates a feeling, which creates a neuropeptide that feeds your cells.

Your cells develop receptacles to receive these neuropeptides and soon become addicted and crave more of the same … so you feed their addiction with more negative or positive thoughts … and

well, your what shows up in your reality is created by this whole biological, physiological, and neurological process through the Law of Attraction.

As Dr. Candace Pert explains in her book, Molecules of Emotion,

neurotransmitters called peptides carry emotional messages. “As our feelings change, this mixture of peptides travels throughout your body and your brain. And they’re literally changing the chemistry of every cell in your body.”

[read more about Dr. Pert’s discovery here.]

I’m not a scientist, I am an ardent student of quantum physics and much of what I have learned have come from Dr. Joe Dispenza:

So, back to the party.

IF the party is out of control and you have guest who you now have begun to recognize as unwanted doubt, fear, worry, anger, jealousy, bitterness, regret, anxiety, worthlessness, despair … they need to be booted out and the clean up of your “living room” started.

How?

STOP INVITING THEM TO THE PARTY!

As I said before, every thought is a knock at the door and if you’re not paying attention, it will get its foot in the door, take a seat, grab a slice of pizza and start texting all its friends to come join the fun.

So, you’re main focus is FOCUS.  Be aware. Stay on alert of those thoughts that you have that don’t serve your higher purpose – that don’t lead to your well-being.

When it shows up, SHUT THE DOOR.  Tell it “you’re not welcome here any more.”

And then, send out an invite to the thought/feeling you do want.

Over and over again, consistently do this.

A negative thought comes in, you recognize it and realize that if it gets its foot in the door, there’s going to be trouble.

If it’s the negative thought of “I don’t have enough money” then you have to shut the door of that thought and bring in a new one.

Here is where many people get stuck.

They believe that repeating affirmations all day long will keep the negative thoughts away from the party.

That’s not how it works.  Affirmations are just words.  And if you’re in the habit of telling yourself “I am a millionaire,” your subconscious, aka, the bouncer at your party, says “no you’re not – remember that overdue bill that is laying on your kitchen table?” because your beliefs don’t match the affirmations you keep repeating.  [read more here]

The feelings that come up from every experience you have are serving as information that there is a disconnect between what you believe and what you desire.

Your feelings are information only – they don’t define who you are.
Whew! Isn’t that a relief!

Greg Kuhn, author of “Why Quantum Physicists Play Grow a Greater You” explains:

When I have those bad feelings, I simply acknowledge and validate them.  They are temporary; they are not my state of being and do not reflect my new, true beliefs about myself.  They also no longer frighten me because I know they are not my beliefs unless I choose to make them so by repeating and believing them.

You have to gently and every so slightly choose a better feeling than the one you are presently trying to shut the door on.

It’s not a matter of switching from anxiety to joyful bliss.  That’s too huge of a gap to be believable.

It’s a matter of telling a better feeling story, not the best feeling story you can about the person, event, thing or experience that has brought the negative thought/feeling.

Telling a better feeling story allows you to be brutally honest about what you’re feeling without stuffing it and smothering it.  And choosing to recognize the feeling and then turn it to an every so slightly better feeling story will begin to clear out your “living room.”

It may seem like quite a mess in your living room right now. The party is out of control and you are looking at the destruction and chaos in your life caused by that party.

But it’s still YOUR house and you can stop the madness beginning now.

Your party can turn into one of ease and fun and happiness and joy.

So, who is at the party in your house?

Party on!

WHO are you? Speak “I AM” into the Universe

One of the most powerful ways to speak YOU into the Universe is by creating a list of I AM statements.

I AM Naked Hippies Roadtrip

Ok, I know that you might be scratching your head at this one …
thinking Trisha has really gone off the deep end now.

Hardly!  Listen closely.

What you speak about, comes about.

It’s the Law of Attraction.  What you think about and speak about becomes your reality.

Now, before you get all excited about just thinking about a pile of money at your feet, or a brand new sports car in your driveway … let me explain this a little further – so you fully understand the Law of Attraction and how it works.

Your thoughts absolutely DO create your reality.

But, you’ve got some inner wiring that is cross-wired or short-circuited.  You know what happens then don’t you – the flow is stopped.  The power doesn’t get through.

Same thing happens inside of you – in your beliefs that have been programmed into you since you were born.

Self-limiting beliefs that stop the flow of power.

So, in your inner wiring, there are some repairs to be made – to get the flow going towards abundant results in your life.

That’s where the I AM statements work so beautifully and powerfully.

When you say I AM _______________, you are speaking in present tense.
You are not saying I WILL BE one day, when everything lines up perfectly, when I have money, when I get a better job or a wife, or a retirement pension.

No, you are speaking it into existence now.  Those two words “I AM” have the ability to anchor new beliefs and replace the old self-sabotaging ones.

Try it for the next 90 days.

Create a list of I AM statements … all the things you are, all the things you desire to be.

Create the list, then read it aloud every day.  Stand up and read it aloud as if you were standing on a mountain top with your hand in the hand of HE who created you.

Add this … record yourself saying your I AM statements. And then play that recording several times a day, as you drive in your car, as you wait in line … as you fall asleep at night.

You are anchoring new beliefs in your subconscious now.  You are changing who you are becoming.

Now, whenever one of those old self-doubts pops up to remind you of all the times you failed in the past, to remind you of when your 8th grade teacher told you that you would never amount to anything …
just repeat an I AM statement to kick that old belief out the door.

This is a poweful exercise to do.  Will you do it?

Our Naked Hippies team did a video assignment recently … we created videos about being network marketing professionals, using the I AM to tell who we are.

Grab your pen and paper, make your I AM list, record you speaking it to the Universe and see what happens for you over the next 90 days as you repeat the statements, listen to them and knock the self-limiting beliefs on their ass.

Let me know if this nudged you to do something different today – like make a video as the one above.

Play the Movie … visualization and affirmation tips from Jack Canfield

Doesn’t it seem that no matter how many books you study on
the Law of Attraction, no matter how many personal development
leaders have taught the value of visualization and affirmations,
so many people still struggle to manifest their desired outcomes.

In this article, Jack Canfield gives a step by step guide to visualize
and affirm your desires.

If this helps you today, share it. Others are waiting to hear this
from you.

I AM affirmation

Visualize and Affirm Your Desired Outcomes: A Step-by-Step Guide – by Jack Canfield

You have an awesome power that most of us have never been taught to use effectively.

Elite athletes use it. The super rich use it. And peak performers in all fields now use it. That power is called visualization.

The daily practice of visualizing your dreams as already complete can rapidly accelerate your achievement of those dreams, goals and ambitions.

Visualization of your goals and desires accomplishes four very important things.

1.) It activates your creative subconscious which will start generating creative ideas to achieve your goal.

2.) It programs your brain to more readily perceive and recognize the resources you will need to achieve your dreams.

3.) It activates the law of attraction, thereby drawing into your life the people, resources, and circumstances you will need to achieve your goals.

4.) It builds your internal motivation to take the necessary actions to achieve your dreams.

Visualization is really quite simple. You sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and imagine — in as vivid detail as you can — what you would be looking at if the dream you have were already realized. Imagine being inside of yourself, looking out through your eyes at the ideal result.

Mental Rehearsal

Athletes call this visualization process “mental rehearsal,” and they have been using it since the 1960s when we learned about it from the Russians.

All you have to do is set aside a few minutes a day. The best times are when you first wake up, after meditation or prayer, and right before you go to bed. These are the times you are most relaxed.

Go through the following three steps:

STEP 1. Imagine sitting in a movie theater, the lights dim, and then the movie starts. It is a movie of you doing perfectly whatever it is that you want to do better. See as much detail as you can create, including your clothing, the expression on your face, small body movements, the environment and any other people that might be around. Add in any sounds you would be hearing — traffic, music, other people talking, cheering. And finally, recreate in your body any feelings you think you would be experiencing as you engage in this activity.

STEP 2. Get out of your chair, walk up to the screen, open a door in the screen and enter into the movie. Now experience the whole thing again from inside of yourself, looking out through your eyes. This is called an “embodied image” rather than a “distant image.” It will deepen the impact of the experience. Again, see everything in vivid detail, hear the sounds you would hear, and feel the feelings you would feel.

STEP 3. Finally, walk back out of the screen that is still showing the picture of you performing perfectly, return to your seat in the theater, reach out and grab the screen and shrink it down to the size of a cracker. Then, bring this miniature screen up to your mouth, chew it up and swallow it. Imagine that each tiny piece — just like a hologram — contains the full picture of you performing well. Imagine all these little screens traveling down into your stomach and out through the bloodstream into every cell of your body. Then imagine that every cell of your body is lit up with a movie of you performing perfectly. It’s like one of those appliance store windows where 50 televisions are all tuned to the same channel.

When you have finished this process — it should take less than five minutes — you can open your eyes and go about your business. If you make this part of your daily routine, you will be amazed at how much improvement you will see in your life.

Create Goal Pictures

Another powerful technique is to create a photograph or picture of yourself with your goal, as if it were already completed. If one of your goals is to own a new car, take your camera down to your local auto dealer and have a picture taken of yourself sitting behind the wheel of your dream car. If your goal is to visit Paris, find a picture or poster of the Eiffel Tower and cut out a picture of yourself and place it into the picture.

Create a Visual Picture and an Affirmation for Each Goal

We recommend that you find or create a picture of every aspect of your dream life. Create a picture or a visual representation for every goal you have — financial, career, recreation, new skills and abilities, things you want to purchase, and so on.

When we were writing the very first Chicken Soup for the Soul® book, we took a copy of the New York Times best seller list, scanned it into our computer, and using the same font as the newspaper, typed Chicken Soup for the Soul into the number one position in the “Paperback Advice, How-To and Miscellaneous” category. We printed several copies and hung them up around the office. Less than two years later, our book was the number one book in that category and stayed there for over a year!

Index Cards

We practice a similar discipline every day. We each have a list of about 30-40 goals we are currently working on. We write each goal on a 3×5 index card and keep those cards near our bed and take them with us when we travel. Each morning and each night we go through the stack of cards, one at a time, read the card, close our eyes, see the completion of that goal in its perfect desired state for about 15 seconds, open our eyes and repeat the process with the next card.

Use Affirmations to Support Your Visualization

An affirmation is a statement that evokes not only a picture, but the experience of already having what you want. Here’s an example of an affirmation:

I am happily vacationing 2 months out of the year in a tropical paradise, and working just four days a week owning my own business.

Repeating an affirmation several times a day keeps you focused on your goal, strengthens your motivation, and programs your subconscious by sending an order to your crew to do whatever it takes to make that goal happen.

Expect Results

Through writing down your goals, using the power of visualization and repeating your affirmations, you can achieve amazing results.

Visualization and affirmations allow you to change your beliefsassumptions, and opinions about the most important person in your life — YOU! They allow you to harness the 18 billion brain cells in your brain and get them all working in a singular and purposeful direction.

Your subconscious will become engaged in a process that transforms you forever. The process is invisible and doesn’t take a long time. It just happens over time, as long as you put in the time to visualize and affirm, surround yourself with positive people, read uplifting books and listen to audio programs that flood your mind with positive, life-affirming messages.

If you would like a step-by-step, comprehensive approach for defining your goals, creating affirmations for them and how to create a powerful visual support system, take a look at our Vision Boards Kits… they contains a everything you need–just add your dreams!

Repeat your affirmations every morning and night for a month and they will become an automatic part of your thinking… woven into the very fabric of your being.
