Quit Your Job and Travel

Quit your job and travel? Really?

Most people think the odds are against them when they hear “quit your job and travel.”

But it’s the #1 response people give when asked “what would you love to do more than anything?”  No. 1 is travel and the No. 2 response is quit my job.

The #1 reason they give for NOT doing either is money.

You’re about to meet some people who will inspire you and show you that it doesn’t take a lot of money to travel.

And, you’re going to learn that there are countless ways to travel cheaply and even make travel your business.

Meet the dreamers and doers:

First off, meet Nomadic Matt who will prove to you it’s possible to travel without a lot of money.

QUIT YOUR JOB AND TRAVEL … life’s too short to wait.

packing_lightIt was the title of Allison Vesterfelt’s first book that grabbed my attention and interest …

“Packing Light: Thoughts on Living Life with Less Baggage.”

Allison dreamed of being a writer and finally made the leap by quitting her full time job, selling nearly everything she owned and taking off on a year long journey across the country in her Subaru Outback.

Her story of the journey and struggle to get her book published will inspire you, because of the insights she gained as she moved past obstacles.  She now is an author of two additional books “The Chase”, and “ Writing to Find Yourself: Becoming More Authentic Through the Art of Writing”  and is helping aspiring writers become published authors.

Subscribe to her list to receive her inspiring messages of creating your own awesome life.

It all started with a year long roadtrip for Allison.

It all starts with the dream to quit your job and travel.

Nadine Pisani had a dream to quit her job and move to Costa Rica.  In her book “Happier Than a Billionaire: Quitting My Job, Moving to Costa Rica, and Living the Zero Hour Work Week” she share’s how she and her husband risked it all for the dream of living the life they desired.

Happier_than_a_Billionaire

Her wit and humor will have you laughing as she shares how they found reliable utilities are not that reliable, quirky neighbors are unavoidable, and tackling red tape takes the strength of a linebacker

She has since written two additional books to help you even more if your dream is to move to Costa Rica.  “Happier Than a Billionaire: The Sequel”  is their story of moving to the beach to build their dream home and discovering that not all dreams come in the form of brick and mortar. Some appear after taking a chance when all odds are against you.

The third book “Happier Than A Billionaire: The Escape Manual” is your how-to manual, your guide for moving to, living in or traveling through Costa Rica.

Check out her blog.

It all started with a Nadine’s desire to quit her job and live in a tropical paradise.

Quit your job and travel … on the cheap!

We learned about Vanabode by Jason Odom long before we were living in our pickup camper.  Is it any wonder that his message intrigued us when we were still dreaming of living on a never-ending roadtrip:

I will show every single person how to get out of their current situation and on to the road trip of a lifetime by using the strategies and equipment my wife and I have used for 21+ years.

If you want to be successful and have fun every single day of your life let me spoon-feed you our solid, proven, well-explained plan. I cover everything you need to have a great life on $20 a day; including delicious food, lodging, transportation, a hot bath, a good night’s sleep in your own clean bed, and days and nights filled with great fun, romance, and new experiences.

Wikipedia’s definition of a “disruptive technology” or “disruptive innovation” describes Vanabode precisely; innovations that improve a product or service in ways that the market does not expect, typically by being lower priced or making something for everyone that was previously only available to the rich.

vanabode

We immediately bought the book “Vanabode happily camp, travel and live forever on $20 a day.”

This book is as wondrous as the Sears Catalog used to be for my grandparents!  We devoured it, began to see how traveling was possible without having a huge bank account first.   And there are times we still consider a white Chevy van. (Get the book to find out why.)

For Jason, it started with a dream to live and travel cheaply.

Miracles happened to us … it can happen to you, too, when you quit your job and travel.

12071894_10208713955626951_1220778536_nI just published my first book, written to tell our story… you can read how we got rid of everything and lived in a tent one summer … how our pickup camper literally dropped in our laps… of our adventures and fun as our dream became real and we hit the road.

And most of all, just like the others mentioned above, you’ll be inspired to go for your dream … NOW!  Pick up your copy of “RV LIVING The Naked Hippies Way: Live YOUR Dreams, Don’t Wait for “Someday”

Yes, you can quit your job and travel.
If you could take off and go anywhere right now, where would you go?
See you on the road!

My NDE (Near Death Experience) with MLM

Nearly threw in the towel until I realized I had a NDE with MLM.My NDE experience is of a different nature, and I don’t write this as a humorous twist on NDEs which would diminish the pure experiences of those who have shared their stories of near death experiences.

My NDE was with MLM and it has given me a new lease on life, regenerated my vitality and vision to help others. Let me explain how I came to this realization.

Most all who experience a NDE are transformed, renewed and filled with a new understanding of who they are and how life really works … and it pretty much comes down to loving, serving, being happy, and being grateful.

It’s a beautiful experience for sure; the stories are powerful and inspiring. I’ve secretly thought how I’d love to experience a NDE (IF it could be without lying on a hospital bed) because of the way it causes such a spiritual awakening and renewal of a person’s life.

And isn’t that what we’re all seeking … really?  An awakening … a new zest for life … assurance about why we are here? We want to break through whatever is holding us back to find the “secret” – the “knowing” – the clarity of what really matters in life.

I’ve had the honor and pleasure of meeting with Robert Trembly, author of “Twenty Seconds: A True Account of Survival and Hope” who assured me that I don’t have to die to experience the renewal and regeneration of a NDE.

I realized I HAVE had a NDE … of a different kind. I didn’t experience a physical death, but an emotional and financial death with network marketing, i.e., MLM (multi level marketing.)

After we rode the roller coaster of building our mobile business so that we could live the Naked Hippies Roadtrip dream; after navigating through the ups and downs and twists and turns that comes with any business; after years of never quitting, always believing, pushing on and keeping on … we were finally living our dream of living on the never-ending roadtrip and we were enjoying success like never before.

The Naked Hippies Roadtrip was rollin’ on down the highways and everything was just as we had dreamed it would be …

UNTIL … as I’ve shared before, the business went into bankruptcy owing us thousands of dollars.

That was at the end of 2014.

And during the past 17 months, I’ve felt like I’ve been in limbo, so to speak. Actually, “dead” would be a better description. I’ve been skittish about new opportunities, wary of promises of the next big thing, and mostly just barely holding on to that last knot in the rope of my belief in the industry.

We had been close to the mountain top, so close … and then there was a landslide … and we tumbled back down to the bottom, back to start all over again.

It hurt.

It hurt to see wrong doings by those who were supposed to be leaders.

It hurt deeply to see our team, our friends, even our family caught in the landslide.

It hurt to look at our bank account.

It hurt to see the dream of two men die … or so I thought.

So, while most NDEs are brief (as far as I know) … mine has lasted 17 months as I searched and struggled to find answers and solutions to “is this really worth all the time and money and effort?”

My NDE is over. I’m back!

I’m back and the spark of belief in the industry that was flickering and fading and almost extinguished has grown to a bonfire!

I was brought back to life when I heard the familiar voice of a friend, one whom had been in the landslide with me. I was jolted back to life when he shared what I’m about to share with you.

You see, when we joined that company which ended up nose-diving into bankruptcy, we had the honor and privilege to be flown to the corporate headquarters in Utah to meet the founders, and I’ll always remember how we resonated with the vision they had, the way we felt the heartbeat of freedom as we talked with them.

They had hearts as big as Texas to help people break free. They designed a company that would help anyone save money, get out of debt and make money doing it…something that resonated with what we desired to do.

Within a short time, we were quickly building a team who were experiencing success for the first time ever, including the Naked Hippies.

And then, the ax fell. The founders were far removed from the decisions of the CEO who utlimately caused the death of the company, the death of their dream.

Now, while I was “dead”, while I was experiencing my NDE, these two men were very much alive and excitedly working to find a way to take what they had learned and begin to create something new, something even bigger and better than what they first had done. Their dream didn’t die because of the shenanigans of a CEO. They held fast to their vision to help people … determined to start again, instead of throwing in the towel.

That phone call brought me back to life, back to believing again, back to the feeling that yes! yes! YES! this industry is worth every twist and turn, every landslide, flood or hurricane because there ARE good, honest people in the world who desire to serve and uplift others.

I received numerous phone calls during those 17 months of my NDE … tons of people reaching out to bring me back, but it took hearing from someone I know personally, someone who is honest, someone I trust completely, someone who has proven over and over again that their number one passion is helping as many people as possible become financially independent so they can live life as they desire…

That’s what brought me back to life!

So, here I am, alive and energized and excited to be building a new team with the founders of Divvee, the new ecommerce shopping experience that is future driven and right in line with what’s working now.

I believe that the Universe always puts people on our path at the right time. Here I was, dead to MLM … no umph or desire to consider starting again … and also working at a part time job to pay the bills … and then the phone dinged. Right time, with the right people.

How did Divvee bring me back from my NDE with MLM?

First, obviously because I know the founders personally and have developed a close friendship with them.

Second, I immediately saw that we can get back to the fun, high energy, the love and support of a team – something that had fizzled while everyone went their separate ways after that company went bankrupt (and while I was “dead.”) It’s been greatly missed.

And third, there’s the in-your-face realization that in this world of fast-paced, ever changing technology, Richard Smith and Troy Muhlestein have created something that the facts and figures are backing up:

Ecommerce and mobile is the future.

This trend cannot be ignored and those who recognize it and seize the opportunity to participate will reap the rewards.

You can’t ignore the statistics:

Seeing where we are headed helped me come back from my NDE with MLM
Adding to this phenomenal trend is the number of smart phone users that has grown since Apple introduced the Smart Phone in 2007.

Today, there are over 200 million smart phone users in the U.S. and over 2 billion worldwide.

The DivveeFree app will provide customers the ease and fun of shopping from their phone to save money on products they already use, or to grab some amazing special deals on products they have been wanting to purchase.

What Amazon has done for retail,

and what Uber has done for the taxi and limousine service,

Divvee is about to do to direct sales network marketing. -Ed Terranova

Customers who get the app will get push notifications of weekly special deals.  Remember the Kmart blue light specials? Back in the day, shoppers in the Kmart store heard a loud voice announcing a blue light special and everyone would race to that section of the store to grab the bargain. Now, with Divvee, it all happens on their phone!

I hope you can grasp the magnitude of the innovative design of Divvee. It’s not a regurgitation of what has always worked in the past …it’s a step into what is trending right now and will continue to explode with advancing technology:

  • Ecommerce
  • Mobile
  • Social Media Marketing

I’m grateful to be back among the living.

Grateful for the unwavering determination of Richard and Troy to not give up on their dream. Grateful for technology that allows us to work from wherever our camper is parked. And grateful for you to still be reading this.

My question to you is this:  Do you know me – the Naked Hippie Trisha? Have you followed me, read my emails, my Facebook posts, my blog, my book?  Have you listened in to the daily mindset call that I host?

Have you traveled with us vicariously, met us in person, or connected with me on Facebook? If you have, then you know my heart and trust me. Just as I didn’t have to think twice when I heard from Richard and Troy because of the trust I have in them … if you have that same kind of trust in me, then let’s start building together.

My NDE with MLM is over! The Naked Hippies Divvee Team is growing and I’m thrilled to be alive again. I love reconnecting with those who have been feeling “dead” like me and who have missed the incredible love and support and energy of a team working together.

Most of all, I believe this was an answered prayer whispered when I was about to let it all go.

It’s easy to become part of the Naked Hippies team (and you can keep your clothes on – or not!) Divvee is affordable: $9.95 a month, $25 a year for affiliate status. Click here to get started NOW because … trust me … the sooner you start growing with the Naked Hippies, well, you’ll thank me for the nudge to get going NOW.

As always, if you have questions, text me at 573-881-6715 or message me on Facebook. I don’t have all the answers, but I do have a direct line to Richard and Troy.

Here’s to your freedom …

Here’s to a comeback …

Here’s to YOU!

I'm alive! I'm back! Let's GO!

What the Redwoods Taught Me

What the Redwoods taught me as I stood among these giants is an experience that was phenomenal.

I had always been drawn to the majesty and beauty of these magnificent trees. I gazed at countless pictures and constantly imagined what it would be like to physically stand in the presence of one of Nature’s glorious creations.

Several years ago, I was being interviewed about our lifestyle and our dream. At the time, we were still stationary – living full time in our camper, managing a campground in Missouri and building our business that would get us on the road to the freedom we desired.

As I shared the story of our dream of RV living on the never-ending roadtrip, the interviewer asked me, the interviewer asked me, “How will you know when you have made it, Trisha, what will be the sign, where will you be?”

My answer came out of the blue. It was something Bruce and I had never talked about. He expected me to say “when we get our dream home – our Roadtrek!”

But that’s not the words that came out of my mouth that day – and as I finish telling you this story – I think you’ll agree the Universe nudged me with the answer that had been with me all those times I had daydreamed and imagined being in the Redwood forest.

She asked … How will you know Trisha?”

And I answered, “When I stand in the Redwood forest.”

In August, 2014, I stood in the Redwood forest.

What the Redwoods taught me: I stood among giants and shared the feeling of strength and power

And, I cried.

I walked among the giant trees,
In awe,
In reverence.

I breathed in their fragrance…
I caressed their bark…
I stood among giants..
Reaching with them to the heavens…
Whispering thank you.

We had done it – we were free! We were living our dream!

I received a lot of insight from those redwoods as I walked and studied and worshiped there … lessons from nature that I know will inspire you as well as you seek to live your dream.

What the Redwoods taught me:

Have a support system.

Redwoods have a shallow root system which is remarkable since they grow to such heights and have massive trunks. They have no tap root – their root system extends over a hundred feet from the base -intertwining with the roots of other redwoods. This increases their stability during strong winds and floods.

What the Redwoods taught me: there is beauty in the toppled trees, there is life regenerated in death.

I was reminded of the strength of a group of people who come
together in one accord. A group of like-minded people is intertwined and inner-twined … to give each member strength to hold on when
the storm winds blow, when something doesn’t go right, when life interrupts and knocks you off our feet. Our roots “lock arms” so to speak.

We become a means of support – so we can each grow tall and mighty.

Leave a legacy.

Here’s another fact that is so amazing about the roots of the Redwood trees. When one tree falls, new trees begin to grow from the fallen tree. The connection to the roots, the photosynthesis … allows new ones to begin their growth.

How true in life, isn’t it? The legacy you leave will be what brings forth growth in the lives of those who follow you. Kinda makes you wonder what kind of legacy you are leaving, doesn’t it?

You are protected.

A redwood’s bark can be 1 foot thick, and it contains tannin,
which protects the tree from fire, insects, fungus and diseases.
What the Redwoods taught me: Even when the fire surrounds me, I am not destroyed.

There is no known insect that can destroy a redwood tree. Fire is not a big threat because the trunk is thick, there’s lots of water inside the tree, and the bark doesn’t have flammable resin like a pine tree does.

You are loved and protected and nourished by the Universe, God, Source … whatever name you choose to give the higher power that is within and without … just as these mighty Redwoods are.

The more you are aware of your connection to the Source of All That Is, you will walk through fire and not be burned. Negative thoughts
and energy will not infect you. People’s opinions will not deter you from living your dream. You are immune, just as the redwood is immune
from insects, fungus and disease.

You are a child of the Universe. You are connected and protected and loved.

There was a reason the Universe spoke “redwoods” into my heart that day I was being interviewed. The time I spent in the Redwoods was a memorable spiritual experience that is difficult to put into words to make you feel what I felt.

But then, I saw this poem displayed in front of a majestic growth
of trees called the “cathedral trees” and when I read this, I knew why
the redwoods called me to come …

This is their temple vaulted high
And here we pause with reverent eye
With silent tongue and awe-struck soul:
For here we sense life’s proper goal.

To be like these, straight, true and fine,
To make our world, like theirs, a shrine:
Sink down. Oh traveler, on your knees
God stands before you in these trees.

Those of you reading this right now … KNOW THIS:

You are a giant … you are majestic and beautiful …

you are mighty and strong.

What the Redwoods taught me: I am no less loved, nurtured, and protected than the mighty Redwoods.

What the Redwoods taught me to tell you is that you are surrounded by people who believe in you and love you just the way you are. You are adored and loved by the Universe. You are. Absolutely. No doubt.

Stand tall as those redwoods – straight, true and fine. Be an example to the world, a shrine of bright light and love, strong and true.

There is one more delightful and inspiring twist to my Redwoods journey …

We left the Redwoods and drove down the coastal highway in an altered state of such visual delight that we felt like it was make-believe …  a magical dream. It’s that “high” that John Denver sings about … we were high on nature!

One thing we always say about our fun life is, “It doesn’t get any better than this … until it does.” And, even though we were on such a high frequency of gratefulness and awe for the beauty of the Redwoods experience, what happened next was the icing on the cake! It got better!

We headed towards San Francisco and I became as excited as a little kid opening birthday presents when I realized we were actually going to drive our Big Foot pickup camper across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.

I was GIDDY! Heart pumping, camera ready, eyes wide open and jaw dropping excited. We were going to drive across this famous bridge that I had seen in so many movies!  (Watch the video of my whoops and hollers here!)

It was absolutely thrilling and wonderful and beautiful!

You know how they say everything comes full circle? Here’s the really cool, most awesome way my Redwoods experience got even better:

The man who wrote that beautiful poem about the Redwoods was Robert B. Strauss is also the man who designed and built … the Golden Gate Bridge.

Amazing! I still get goosebumps when I think about this twist.

I have been so honored to share what the Redwoods taught me. I hope it has given you inspiration and motivation to continue on with your dream.

Have you been to the Redwoods? What was your experience? I’d love to hear!

Sedona: Stairway to Heaven

Sedona is truly the stairway to heaven.

The day we went hiking up the Sedona red rocks, I felt like I was climbing to heaven. As we hiked up and over and through and around the red rocks, I sensed I was walking on sacred, holy ground. We started calling our hike the Sedona stairway to heaven hike.

Sedona: Stairway to Heaven ... every tree and shrub and bush and flower displays heavenly beauty

As soon as we walked past the trailhead marker, we felt the hushed reverence of nature…in the rocks, the trees, the cactus. Every living plant stood in its place to cry out songs of praise and thanksgiving for the honor of serving as an adornment to this majestic place.

Sedona: Stairway to Heaven has to be experienced first-hand, not in pictures.

The soft fragrance of cedar greeted me immediately, drifting through the air and gently filling my senses. It was intoxicating – it halted my steps. I stood still in the middle of the path and just breathed it in, filling my whole being with its sweet, sensuous smell.

Sedona: Stairway to Heaven ... everywhere you look, nature expresses its majesty.

There was no hurry in our steps…we were not hiking for the physical benefits of such a feat…we were there to immerse ourselves in the worship of creation.

Sedona: Stairway to heaven ,,, oh the beautiful spacious views!

A turn of our heads in any direction along the path revealed a grand masterpiece of canyons painted with brushstrokes of red, orange, gray, blue, green…against the brilliant blue sky that cradled soft bundles of cotton in its arms.

Sedona: Stairway to heaven ... every peak reaches to the heavens

We walked on and on, step by step, climbing what we called the Sedona stairway to heaven, seeking the fruition of our quest.

Sedona: Stairway to heaven ... even the moss drapes the stones in glorious beauty

Fragile ferns and tiny sprouts of green dotted the path like precious little children at play. Soft, green moss covered stones, grew in the crevices, curved around roots like a gentle hand of comfort upon a friends’ shoulder.

Sedona: Stairway to heaven ... wildflowers, cactus, trees, rocks all gathered to express nature's grandeur

Bushes along the trail bloomed with tiny white blossoms that seemed to bow their heads while the leaves were hands raised in prayer.

Sedona: Stairway to heaven ... new life springs forth from the old

Dead trees with their stark drab trunks remained steadfastly rooted in their duty to serve, and upon closer look, a branch of new growth, new life, protruded from the gnarled, twisted elderly tree.

Sedona: Stairway to heaven ... the ultimate delight - reaching the top

The three mile hike to the top was a spiritual experience that only comes when you get away from the concrete masses and allow your soul to say hello to nature. When you shut out the outside distractions and open yourself to that which is within.

Sedona: Stairway to heaven ... and I think to myself, what a wonderful world!

The final push, a few quick steps – and at last we were beholding the panoramic glory and majesty and beauty of Sedona’s red rocks. We were one with all nature, the rocks and boulders and trees and plants and wildlife … moved to tears at the honor of being present in this space.

Sedona: Stairway to heaven ... the eagle peak stands tall

We turned and headed back down…not ready to leave this sacred place, not ready to be removed from the energy that tumbled through every muscle and fiber of our being, but the sun was giving us warning of the day’s end.

Sedona: Stairway to heaven: standing on holy ground

As we walked, we stopped for one last look, one last smell, one last caress of a lichen covered rock. The colors along the path that were brilliant in the mid-day sun began to transform to subtle hues of gray, sage and blue when the sun said it’s farewell to the day.

Sedona: Stairway to heaven ... leaving with grateful hearts

And then, it was over. Back in the truck, back on the road again. Time had vanished during the hike…it had been 4 hours of joyful bliss hiking the Sedona stairway to heaven.

Sedona: Stairway to heaven ... never have I seen such beauty

We chuckled at ourselves…two baby boomers with no amount of physical endurance had climbed these peaks and survived! And the interesting thing is this…we were not exhausted, we were not ready to collapse when we were back at the trail head. In fact, we were so fully energized, had it not been so late in the day, we probably would have taken off on another trail.

Sedona: Stairway to heaven ... pillars of strength and honor declaring the majesty of Nature

This was definitely a deep spiritual experience like I’ve never known before. Something magical, mysterious and enlightening happened on that trail…and even though we had to leave that sacred place and return to our camper, I carried it with me…back to the crowded streets of Sedona, through the round-abouts and stoplights, in the grocery store, back to the campground.Sedona: Stairway to heaven ... this view, this place, this experience was magical

I fell into a deep sleep last night – the kind of sleep where Bruce could not stir me with his touch, his nudging, his soft goodnight kisses. I was gone… back to the energy and soul of the red rocks where I found peace that rocked me to sleep.

People ask us quite often, “what’s your favorite place you’ve been to so far?” And we always answer, “Our favorite place is wherever we are right now, for there is beauty all around us.” But THIS, this experience has been one of the most moving and restorative experiences I’ve ever had.

Unless you’ve been here and walked along these trails with an awareness of its sacredness, my words and pictures will not convey the connection and meaning I am striving to share with you. It has to be felt and seen and touched and breathed in by your physical presence.

Many people come to Sedona for the arts, the shopping, the culture, the jeep excursions, helicopter tours and trolley rides. They will find exactly what they are seeking – it’s an extravaganza of tourist treats and delights.

Sedona: Stairway to heaven ... thank you, thank you, thank you for this sacred experience

I came here seeking something different. I came here to do exactly what I did today…to walk along the path…to climb the Sedona stairway to heaven, stand there with tear filled eyes and say, “thank you, thank you, thank you.”

This scenic tour and inspiration is brought to you by our message and vision of FREEDOM that springs from our hearts. We are living our dream – the lifestyle of travel and adventure of RV living full time. What’s your dream? What’s stopping you?

Stay updated on our travels and adventures and life experiences: http://trishahippie.com

What is the path of least resistance to manifesting your dream?

Path of Least Resistance to our Vanabode

What is the path of least resistance to manifest what you desire?

What do you do when that which you want seems to be taking such a long time to get here?

The natural tendency for most people is to get frustrated and even a little bit angry. Sometimes, jealousy and envy erupt as you see that others seem to “have it all” and you begin to doubt that you’ll ever truly manifest what you desire.

That’s the rub. That’s the resistance. That’s the issue that needs to be addressed.

We have a new dream now that we manifested the freedom to live and travel on the Naked Hippies Roadtrip. Our new dream is to replace our Big Foot pickup camper with a Vanabode.

We’ve done the research, we know exactly what we want, the model, the features, the set up. There are pictures of the Vanabode on our vision board. We have already done the first major downsize necessary. We notice the white Chevy vans that we pass on the road with exclamations of “VANABODE!”

What is the path of least resistance to manifest our Vanabode?

And yet, here we are still waiting.

You, too?

Are you in that place of “it isn’t here yet” – “why is this taking so long” – “what else do I have to do?”

What is the path of least resistance to manifest any desire?

It isn’t in the “doing.”  It is in the BEING.

It isn’t in trying to figure out how, or when, or where it will happen.

The path of least resistance is taking your focus off the manifestation, the end result, the destination; and instead, focusing on your state of being, your feelings.

As long as you keep your focus on what “isn’t here yet,” you are sending out negative vibrations of lack, of doubt. Desires are manifested when your energy is vibrating at higher levels of joy and happiness and appreciation.

But, it’s so hard, isn’t it?  We’ve been imprinted with the instant gratification ideas of our society. It transfers easily to the manifestation process.  It’s hard to be patient, and especially difficult to be happy while you wait.

This message from Esther Hicks explains exactly how we are pinching ourselves off from the BEING  on the path of least resistance.

Esther Hicks reminds me to remember how we manifested our Big Foot camper. How the journey towards its manifestation was one that we could never have imagined.

I’m reminded to take my eyes off the “what isn’t here yet” and find delight and joy romping around on this journey to manifesting our Vanabode.

Will you join me in the fun? Will you practice (and it takes a lot of practice) to be happy now, BEFORE your dream becomes your reality? To be aware and appreciative of paths that are lighting up as you continue to wait?

The lighted path appears when you take the path of least resistance.

When you have the certainty, the belief that all you desire is coming to you, when you stop being fixated on what your physical eyes reveal “what isn’t here,” you are on the path to least resistance. Your desire is making its way to you in ways you could never imagine or expect.

Wait … wait … wait.

But, not by throwing a temper tantrum like a two-year-old or raising your fist to the Universe as you cry out “Why is this taking so damn long?”

Wait with appreciation. Wait with delight. Wait with joyous patience and expectancy. Wait with the art of allowing people, places, events and rendevous!

[Tweet “The waiting IS the journey.”]
There is much to see and discover and learn and enjoy along the way.

The path of least resistance is being present now. Not looking ahead in fear, or looking back with guilt or regret.

As you travel on this amazing journey, there is always more to learn about who you are and the amazing power of deliberate creation you have within you.

Come, you’re invited, to join our study of “Ask and It Is Given” by Esther and Jerry Hicks. We read and discuss the book daily, Monday – Friday at 10 am Eastern.  Dial in for the live call: 712-775-7085 pin 150703#

50 thoughts to motivate your mojo - get your groove back on ... finish what you started

Motivate Your Mojo with These 50 Thoughts

If you’ve ever started something with great excitement and anticipation, and then kinda lost your sizzle and fizzle …

You just need some reminders of how incredibly amazing, unique, powerful and skillful enough to achieve anything you desire.

You need a boost to motivate your mojo.

It’s so easy to fall prey to  feelings of worthlessness, fear, anxiety when you are stretching yourself to be, do and have more in life.

Whether you are tackling a weight issue, searching for the love of your life, or cranking out the blood, sweat and tears as an entrepreneur, stuff comes up that yanks you down on your ass makes you wonder what the heck you were thinking.

It happens to everyone … from affluent celebrities to the grandma who is living fulltime in an RV (that’s me!)

Jayson Demers, founder and CEO of AudienceBloom,  compiled a list of 50 motivating thoughts to help you through those difficult times of second-guessing your dreams and goals … to help you finish what you started with such enthusiasm.

I picked five from his last as my favorites, but all fifty are truly
incredible thoughts and ideas that will motivate your mojo, even if it feels like it’s been lost, stomped on and is gone forever.

Here are my fav five:

4. It’s never too late. No matter how old you are or how many opportunities you’ve passed up before, it’s never too late to make a decision and get a fresh start.

15. “Someday” is today. If you’re like most people, you use the word “someday” to describe your goals and desires. Make today that someday.

33. Ordinary actions make an ordinary life. Nobody wants to be ordinary. Don’t let yourself be.

39. Feelings are the product of thoughts. If you’re scared or unsure, know that these are feelings generated by your thoughts; then you can control them.

41. I am whomever I want to be. There’s nothing stopping you from being whom you want to be.

Access the whole list of 50 thoughts that can motivate you to do anything.

The bottom line is this.  Your thoughts lead to feelings, your feelings lead to action or inaction.  Action leads to results. Inaction leads to staying stuck where you are.
