The number three has great significance in so many areas of life.

According to Pythagoras and the Pythagorean school, the number 3, which they called triad, is the noblest of all digits, as it is the only number to equal the sum of all the terms below it.
In Religion…
Many world religions contain triple deities or concepts of trinity, including:
- the Christian Holy Trinity
- the Hindu Trimurti and the Hindu Tridevi
- the Three Jewels of Buddhism
- the Three Pure Ones of Taoism
In addition to the Holy Trinity, Christianity uses the number three often:
The devil tempted Jesus three times.
Saint Peter thrice denied Jesus and thrice affirmed his faith in Jesus
The Magi gave Jesus three gifts.
In Spirituality…
Number 3 resonates with the energies of optimism and joy, inspiration and creativity, speech and communication, good taste, imagination and intelligence, sociability and society, friendliness, kindness and compassion.
