Size Matters with Every Post Online

Does the length of your Social Media posts, headlines, subject lines and blog articles matter?

You bet it does!

And all the women smiled and nodded in agreement.

Seriously, it does matter.

Here’s the infographic that sums up the perfect lengths:

Read the full article here for complete information on:

  • The perfect length for everything
  • The reason why the recommended length is optimal
  • The source of the data compiled

I’m ready to tweak my posts and test these recommendations.

Notice my blog title has SIX words as recommended.

But also notice that there are more than 40 characters in each line of this blog post.  That’s going to take some extra work.

The most interesting test will be on Facebook where the recommended length of a post is 40 characters.

This is awesome! You can download a pdf of this infographic to keep handy. Here’s the link: http://blog.sumall.com/journal/internet-zoo-ideal-length-everything-online.html

What do you think about the recommendations?

Will you be changing your length accordingly?

Attraction Marketing on Facebook … how to build rapport with prospects

Attraction Marketing on Facebook is a highly effective way to build rapport with prospects.  Sadly, most marketers fail to learn the right way to do this.

Facebook_Marketing_Naked_Hippies_RoadtripJust as TV commercials interrupt a really good program and cause you to be annoyed, blatant pitches on Facebook that scream “join me – make $30k in one week without doing anything” are even more of an annoyance.

The only people those kinds of posts attract are those who are desperate … not those who are seeking a genuine, legitimate way to work from home.

So what is attraction marketing?  It’s building rapport with people so that they come to you instead of you hunting them down like a hungry predator.

I’m only looking for people who are looking for me. -Joe Schroeder

Attraction marketing is being genuine, being the real you, sharing your ideas and inspiration.  You attract what you give to others.

So, now that you have a clearer understanding of what attraction marketing is … how do you build rapport with prospects on Facebook?

There are endless ways to do this in your posts.  Here are some of the best examples of attraction marketing posts for Facebook:

  • Positive Quotes
  • Motivation
  • Inspiration
  • How to’s on marketing
  • Personal adventure/Family/Team
  • Entertainment
  • Comedy
  • Trivia
  • Controversy
  • Social Proof on your success
  • Social Proof on your team’s success
  • Piggyback Marketing
  • Value-based hangouts/webinars/conference calls

Heads up!  What you give away, you get to keep.

Give value, positive ideas and inspiration. You’ll attract the same into your business.

Refrain from complaining.  This is the #1 killer of attraction marketing.  If you’ve been consistently posting content, using the examples above … and one day you go on a rant about how life sucks, how this person mistreated you, how your company goofed up on your commissions … that is the one post that will stick in the minds of your prospects, and cause them to look elsewhere for someone who has a better outlook on life.

Facebook is a great platform to experience attraction marketing.

If these tips helped you see more clearly how you can build rapport with prospects on Facebook, leave a comment below … or better yet – share this with your team.

Here’s to YOU being a magnet!

Finally, just one more thing to share with you… and this is for those who are rockin on Facebook, using attraction marketing to build rapport with prospects. Building rapport is the first crucial step; building your list is next.  What are you doing to add people to your list so you can communicate with them on a regular basis?

This is the system we use to do that.  We create capture pages (like the ones in the links above); we collect emails that go into the autoresponder; we send out daily emails filled with value and inspiration and training to keep our list engaged, to lead them to the great products we have to offer.

Why Facebook is THE Bomb for Social Media Marketing

Social Media has become the foundation of every successful business, whether offline or online.

Technology is developing at such a rapid pace and has evolved to make the web more interactive and user friendly.

Business owners have great tools at their disposal to assist with expanding, scaling, growth and making more money in your business.

However, in order to achieve this goal, one must search for the best features for expansion, and know how to use them in order to increase their bottom line.

Social media marketing on Facebook is the place to start.  Here’s why:

Worldwide, there are over 1.35 billion monthly active Facebook users.  (Source: Facebook as of 10/28/14)

One in five page views in the United States occurs on Facebook. (Source: Infodocket 2012)

Your potential audience is growing daily on Facebook..

The list below contains several inexpensive ways on how to market on Facebook to expand your business, and increase profits.

Videos & Facebook

Many online marketers use videos to promote businesses for their online presence. Videos are a valuable resource for marketers. They directly affect the ranking in which a page is listed on a major search engine queries.

In recent years, videos have become very popular on the Internet. For example, YouTube is considered the second largest search engine in the world.

Now, most developers agree creating and launching YouTube videos is the fastest way to have a website rank on Google, or any other search engine.

Also, it is relatively easy to produce online videos with the new smart phones. No need to invest in fancy
equipment – your phone will do it all – record the video and upload it to YouTube – all in the palm of your hand.

The content you can provide is wide open to your
creativity, goals and purpose, such as:

  • Instructional “how to” videos
  • Customer reviews
  • Lifestyle
  • Motivation
  • Commercials

Sharing your YouTube videos on Facebook is a
great way to expand your presence and elicit
engagement for your product or services.
Blogs and Facebook

If you are looking for a great inexpensive way to  promote products  or services for your business, blogs are the way to go.

Blogs with links to social media sites like Facebook go very far in increasing high end business visibility, and branding.

Many consumers look for credibility when searching for any product or service, especially if they are planning to spend money.

Developing a blog can provide instant credibility, and make you an authority on any given subject matter.

A link from your blog, shared on Facebook can definitely improve your page standing with the major search engines.

Here’s the power of posting your blog link on Facebook:  Facebook shows up in Google searches; however, Google does not show up on Facebook.

Content and Facebook

In the world of the Internet, the saying is, “content is King.” Major search engines take web content seriously.

Fresh and relevant content is a must in order for any website to be acknowledged by the search engines, and to receive a decent ranking.

Pushing that content through major social media outlets, such as Facebook is probably the most effective and fastest way to bring visibility to a very targeted demographic.

Facebook is one among a hand-full of advertising networks that can laser target a specific demographic, genre or concept on a global basis.

There are many social media tools to consider in expanding a website, or online promotion; however the above-mentioned resources on Facebook are some of the best to consider for increasing revenue for your brand.

See you on Facebook!

Monkey See – Monkey Say

Monkey See, Monkey Say

Oops! That’s not how it goes…

ape-220031_640

It’s Monkey See, Monkey Do.

Well, that’s the way it’s SUPPOSED
to be, but it’s not happening…
at least from what I see on Facebook.

Marketers are “saying” what their
mentors or leaders are saying … but
not “doing” what they are saying.

One of the first pieces of advice we
give to others who have made the
decision to join the internet marketing
industry is to follow the leaders.

Follow what they do, watch how they do
it and learn from them so you can put
into action all that you have learned.

That would be monkey see, monkey do.

But, here’s what is going on … really.

People are following leaders and their
posts on Facebook are just carbon copies
of what the leaders have said, which …

isn’t so bad, if you have taken the actions
to back up what you are saying.

You are what you do,
not what you say you’ll do.
― C.G. Jung

It will catch up with you if you are
saying one thing and doing another.

People smell “phony.”

People reject “false.”

Actions prove who someone is,
words just prove who they want to be.
– Unknown

Make sure that as you follow the leaders,
you are putting into action what you are
learning.

Do what you say … then you can say what
you do.  Got it?

Here’s to your success!
